Job Description

Job Responsibilities:

  • Enhances the organization’s human resources by planning, implementing and evaluating employee relations and human resource policies, programs and practices aligned with the overall business strategy
  • Collaborate with Head of Departments to identify staffing needs and create job descriptions.
  • Maintains the work structure by updating Job Requirements and Job descriptions for all positions
  • Recruitment of employees via a recruitment process in interviewing, selection and recommendation of compensation and benefits
  • Prepares employees for assignments by establishing and conducting orientation and training programs
  • Oversee, implement as well as periodically monitor performance appraisal system. Ensuring planning, monitoring and appraisal of employee work results to the KPI set
  • Assist HODs in coaching and discipline employees, scheduling regular sessions with employees, hearing and resolving employee grievances, counselling employees
  • Handle employee inquiries, concerns, and grievances in a timely and confidential manner
  • Help promote a company culture that encourages top performance and a positive work environment
  • Handle and review employees' training needs with the respective departmental heads
  • Ensures the company meets all local legal and regulatory employment requirements. Maintaining records, attending updates and disseminating changes to the organization on employment matters.
  • To establish performance management system for the stimulation of employee, the improvement of their work performance, and the support of their self-development
  • To set up internal communication channel & flow in the company for establishment of goods & harmonious working environment.
  • Implement and manage payroll processing systems to ensure timely and accurate processing of payroll transactions including salaries, leave, taxes and other statutory deductions such as EPF, Socso and EIS
  • Develop and enforce HR policies and procedures in compliance with labour laws and company standards.
  • Communicate policies to employees and ensure their understanding and adherence.
  • Manage compensation structures, salary adjustments, and benefits administration.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date HR records, including personnel files, attendance, and leave records.
  • Generate HR reports and analytics to aid in decision-making and strategy development.
  • Ensure compliance with labour laws, health and safety regulations, and ethical standards.

Job Requirements:

  • Candidate must possess at least a bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management or a related discipline
  • A minimum of 3 to 4 years of experience in HR Operational and payroll
  • Experience with SAGE Payroll System is an added advantage
  • Experience in handling labour matters and In-depth knowledge of Employment ACT and HR Policies
  • Strong organizational, critical thinking and communication skills
  • Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company
  • Independent and able to work in minimum supervision
  • Meticulous, well organized as well as able to handle multiple tasks in systematic manner
  • A Team player and Good time management skills
  • Good in both written and spoken Mandarin, English and Bahasa Malaysia
  • Able to start in a short notice period is an advantage
