Event Executive (Shah Alam)

• Assists in the development of event programs and supports the planning and execution of project plans.
• Takes responsibility for planning and executing events within specified timelines.
• Manages on-ground operations, identifies operational gaps, and implements new operational ideas and procedures.
• Troubleshoots and handles any issues that arise during events.
• Conducts research, contacts vendors, and negotiates contracts with various vendors.
• Works towards achieving sales targets and contributes to budget planning.
• Monitors ongoing spending and strives to deliver the best possible return on investment (ROI) for events.
• Coordinates with relevant departments to ensure that event deliverables are met.
• Supports the Project Lead in overseeing the events' floor plan and escalates any strategic decisions that may be required.
• Develops, improves, and implements overall customer experience initiatives for events.
• Resolves customer complaints by identifying the cause of the problem, expediting corrections or adjustments, and following up to ensure resolution.
• Manages other ad-hoc tasks and projects to meet the company's objectives and goals.
• Organizes work-in-progress (WIP) meetings for each project to ensure effective communication among all team members.
• Prepares event reports and conducts post-mortems with the teams involved.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Communications or Marketing discipline;
• Minimum 2 years working experience;
• Good proficiency of English (both spoken & written);
• Strong communication skills;
• Able to multi-task and take pride in delivering great results;
• Good team player;
• Might be required to travel extensively abroad.
