Interior Designer (Kota Kemuning)

Key Responsibilities

• Create design concepts, mood boards, and space planning layouts.
• Prepare 2D drawings, 3D visualizations, material boards, and presentations.
• Select materials, finishes, furniture, lighting, and décor.
• Work closely with clients to understand their needs and propose suitable design solutions.
• Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and project teams.
• Conduct site visits and oversee work progress.
• Ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, and safety standards.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Interior Design (residential and commercial projects preferred).
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
• Proficient in design software such as AutoCAD, Photoshop, 3ds Max, Illustrator, and Microsoft Office.
• Strong design sense and attention to detail.
• Good communication and project management skills.
• Ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Portfolio of previous design work is required.

Preferred Qualifications (Optional)

• Knowledge of sustainable or eco-friendly design solutions.
• Familiarity with local suppliers and material markets, especially materials, finishes, furniture specifications, construction methods, and site coordination.
• Strong ability to produce layout plans, construction drawings, detail drawings, and 3D perspectives.
• Possesses own transport is an advantage.

Language Requirements

• Bahasa Malaysia and English.
• Mandarin speaker is required to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients.
