Warehouse Manager (Semenyih)

Warehouse Operations Management

• Lead and oversee all inbound, storage, inventory control, order fulfillment, and outbound activities.
• Ensure warehouse operations meet productivity, quality, and service-level targets.
• Optimize warehouse layout, storage methods, and material flow to maximize space utilization.
• Ensure timely receiving and dispatch of products according to operational schedules.

Inventory Management & Control

• Maintain accurate inventory records and stock visibility.
• Ensure proper implementation of FIFO/FEFO inventory practices.
• Conduct cycle counts, stock audits, and reconciliation activities.
• Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies promptly.

Food Safety, Quality & Compliance

• Ensure compliance with food safety standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies.
• Maintain HACCP, GMP, FSMS compliance within warehouse operations.
• Monitor sanitation, housekeeping, pest control, and temperature management programs.
• Support internal, customer, and external audits. Ensure training compliance for audits.

Cold Chain Management

• Ensure proper temperature control throughout storage and handling processes.
• Monitor refrigeration systems and temperature records.
• Coordinate emergency response plans for temperature excursions or equipment failures.
• Protect product quality and shelf life.

Team Leadership & Workforce Management

• Lead, coach, and develop warehouse supervisors and operational staff.
• Manage workforce planning, scheduling, attendance, and performance.
• Ensure employees receive adequate training on safety, food safety, and operational procedures.
• Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.

Health, Safety & Environmental Management

• Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations.
• Promote safe work practices and conduct regular safety inspections.
• Investigate incidents and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure safe operation of forklifts, racking systems, and warehouse facilities.

Logistics & Customer Service Coordination

• Coordinate with production, planning, transportation, and customer service teams.
• Ensure on-time and accurate order fulfillment.
• Manage customer requirements, delivery schedules, and urgent requests.
• Resolve operational issues affecting customer service performance.

Cost Management & Resource Optimization

• Manage warehouse operating expenses and resource utilization.
• Monitor labor costs, overtime, utilities, and equipment expenses.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising service or compliance.
• Prepare and manage warehouse budgets.

Systems, Reporting & Continuous Improvement

• Perform other related duties as required by the Management.
• Ensure effective utilization of WMS, ERP, and inventory management systems.
• Analyze warehouse performance data and prepare management reports.
• Lead Lean, 5S, Kaizen, and process improvement initiatives.
• Drive automation and digitalization projects where applicable.

Minimum Qualifications

• Diploma/ Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Warehouse
• Management, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• Professional certifications in Warehousing, Logistics, Food Safety, or Supply Chain
• Management are an advantage.
• Minimum 5–8 years of experience in warehouse, logistics, or supply chain
• operations.
• Minimum 3 years of managerial or supervisory experience leading warehouse
• teams.
• Experience in food manufacturing, FMCG, cold chain, frozen food, or food
• distribution environments is preferred.
• Proven experience managing inventory control, warehouse operations, and customer service requirements.
• Knowledge
• Knowledge of warehouse management principles, inventory control, and material
• handling systems.
• Understanding of food safety standards such as:
• HACCP
• GMP
• ERP
• FSSC 22000 (preferred)
• Knowledge of FIFO/FEFO inventory practices and product traceability requirements.
• Familiarity with cold storage and temperature-controlled warehouse operations.
• Experience using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), ERP systems, and
• Microsoft Office applications.
