Retail Assistant (Kuala Lumpur)

Working Days & Hours:

• Working Hours: From 9:30am to 6:30pm or 12:30pm to 10pm (Rotational Shift)
• Work Days: Monday to Friday / Weekend included / 6 days a week

Key responsibilities:-

• Identify, engage and qualify potential customers to understand their needs and requirements
• Present and demonstrate products or services in a compelling and persuasive manner
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction
• Achieve and exceed individual sales targets and contribute to team performance goals
• Conduct product demonstrations and provide detailed information about product features and benefits
• Handle customer inquiries, objections and concerns professionally and effectively
• Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently using point-of-sale systems
• Follow up with customers post-sale to ensure satisfaction and identify opportunities for repeat business
• Maintain comprehensive knowledge of product inventory, pricing, promotions and company policies
• Collaborate with team members to create a positive working environment and share best practices

• Proven experience in a sales role, preferably in retail or a customer-facing environment
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport quickly
• Results-oriented mindset with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
• Excellent customer service skills and a genuine passion for helping customers
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
• Problem-solving abilities and resilience in handling challenging situations
• Proficiency in using point-of-sale systems and basic computer literacy
• Fluency in English and Malay; additional languages are advantageous
• A positive attitude, professional appearance and reliability
• Flexibility to work retail hours, including weekends and public holidays as required
