Machinist (Kota Kinabalu)

Job Location: Mile 7.5, Jalan Tuaran, Inanam Industrial Estate, Kota Kinabalu, Sabah

Working Days & Hours:

• Monday to Saturday: 08:00 am - 04:30 pm
• Sunday: Rest

Job Requirements:

• Diploma in Industrial Machining Technology or complete form5 or possess a technical certificate from recognized institution
• Can perform machining works and maintenance on equipment
• 2-3 years experience in similar field is an advantage

Job Scopes:

The Machinist reports to the Senior Mechanical Supervisor/Mechanical Supervisor and is responsible for:

• Observing and practising safety and hazard free work procedure.
• Reporting problem and practising good house keeping.
• Performing mechanical maintenance and breakdown repairs.
• Troubleshooting any breakdown.
• Servicing, overhauling, modifying, fabricating, checking, monitoring and repairing of the plant equipment.
• Assisting in spare parts control.
• Ensuring accurate record keeping for all equipment.
• Assisting superior in project works.
• Working on shift when assigned by superior.
• Performing other tasks as requested by superior from time to time
