Qualification: Diploma/Degree in Accounting, Finance, LCCI, or currently pursuing professional accounting papers (ACCA/CPA Australia).
Experience: Fresh graduates welcomed; 1–2 years of accounting firm or commercial bookkeeping experience is an advantage.
Software & Technical Skills: Proficient in MS Excel and familiar with accounting software (e.g., AutoCount, SQL, UBS, or Audit Express).
Regulatory Knowledge: Basic understanding of local accounting standards (MPERS/PERS) and SST filing procedures.
Language & Soft Skills: Good written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia; high attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
Job Scopes:
Client Bookkeeping & Data Entry: Maintain full sets of client accounts, entering AP/AR transactions and receipts into accounting software (e.g., AutoCount, SQL, UBS).
Reconciliations & Account Maintenance: Perform monthly bank reconciliations, ledger checks, and balance sheet schedules for various client entities.
Financial Statement Preparation: Assist senior accountants in preparing client trial balances, draft financial statements, and supporting audit working papers.
Tax & Statutory Compliance Support: Prepare documentation and computation schedules for client Sales and Service Tax (SST) filings and income tax submissions.
Client Liaison & Administrative Support: Collect financial records and queries from clients, organize physical/digital audit trails, and ensure timely filing deadlines.
