Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accounts Payable to support day-to-day financial operations. This entry-level role is ideal for candidates looking to build their accounting and finance career while working in a structured professional environment. The successful candidate will assist with invoice processing, supplier communications, payment tracking and general bookkeeping while ensuring accuracy and efficiency.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • process supplier invoices, bills and payment requests accurately and efficiently.
  • verify invoice details, approvals and supporting documentation
  • maintain accurate financial records and accounts payable data
  • reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies
  • assist with payment scheduling and follow-up
  • support bookkeeping and general accounting administrative tasks
  • data entry into accounting system such as Xero, QuickBooks or similar accounting platforms
  • maintain organised digital and/ or physical records
  • communicate with suppliers and internal teams regarding invoice or payment queries
  • assist with month-end reporting and finance administration as required

REQUIREMENTS

  • fluent in both Mandarin and English (spoken and written)
  • at least 3 years of experience in accounts payable, bookkeeping, accounting administration or related fields
  • basic understanding of invoices, payment cycle and accounting processes
  • familiarity with Xero, QuickBooks or similar accounting software is an added advantage
  • strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • basic Microsoft Excel skills (data entry, sorting and simple formulas)
  • good organisational and time management skills
  • ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
  • strong written and verbal communication skills
  • positive attitude and willingness to learn
