Job Description

Requirements:

  • Possess 3–5 years of relevant working experience in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
  • Preferably experienced in civil construction projects, including infrastructure, earthworks, utilities, or related works.
  • Strong experience in the preparation, evaluation, and management of progress claims, variation claims, and subcontractor claims.
  • Willing and able to travel to project sites, including rural and remote locations, to support site measurement, progress claim preparation, project monitoring, and coordination with project teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and submit progress claims to clients based on work completed and contractual requirements.
  • Review, verify, and evaluate subcontractor progress claims to ensure accuracy and compliance with contract terms.
  • Prepare, assess, and manage variation orders (VO), including measurement, cost evaluation, submission, and negotiation.
  • Monitor project costs, budgets, and contract expenditure throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Prepare Bills of Quantities (BQ), cost estimates, and tender documentation.
  • Review contract documents, drawings, specifications, and scope of works to identify cost implications and risks.
  • Maintain proper documentation and records for claims, variations, payments, and contract
  • Assist in contract administration, including preparation of interim payment certificates and final accounts.
  • Provide cost reports and updates to Management/project teams.
  • Perform any other duties assigned by Management from time to time.

Salary:

  • Salary RM4000 – RM5000
