HIRING: IT ONSITE SUPPORT ENGINEER

Job Type: Full Time-Contract (1 Year Renewable based on client's performance evaluation and demand)

Location: 2, Jalan SS 8/2, Sungai Way Free Trade Industrial Zone, 47300 Petaling Jaya, Selangor

Salary: RM3,000 - RM5,000

About the Role:

We are looking for an IT Onsite Support Engineer to provide day-to-day IT support, handle Request/Incident tickets via the ServiceNow platform, and support the Global IT team in local IT operations (Hand & Feet support).

Responsibilities:

  • Support day-to-day IT support matters
  • Handle Request/Incident tickets from ServiceNow platform
  • Support Global IT team in local IT operations (Hand & Feet support)
  • Maintain proper inventory checklist matching with CMDB
  • Monitor the Support Queue in ServiceNow to ensure tickets are dealt with promptly
  • Direct complex tickets to the appropriate support group and maintain ownership until issue resolution
  • Maintain 5S in workplace

Requirements:

  • Degree/Diploma in IT, Computer Science, or related field
  • 1 - 4 years of hands-on IT support experience (excluding internship)
  • Strong troubleshooting skills across systems/platforms
  • Knowledge of network and infrastructure support
  • Solid communication and documentation skills
  • Able to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Languages: English and Malay

Preferred Technical Skills:

  • Support Windows, iOS
  • Basic network troubleshooting
  • Basic Video/Audio System and Video Conferencing solutions (Logitech Teams Room and Webex)
  • Basic mobile application installation and troubleshooting (MS Authenticator, MS Outlook, OneDrive, MS Teams, SharePoint, SAP Concur, etc.)
  • Basic office printer troubleshooting and simple part replacement
  • Physical installation of network switches, router, wireless access point, etc. as part of hardware refresh cycle
  • Basic troubleshooting of Alcatel phone system and Cisco IP Phone system
  • Good to have technical certification in networks and hardware support

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:50 PM
