Position: Business Development Executive

Job Summary

We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Business Development Executive to support the Company's growth and expansion in local and international markets. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, developing strategic partnerships, managing client relationships, and driving sales growth. This role requires strong communication, negotiation, and market analysis skills, as well as the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Requirements

  • Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, International Business, or a related field.
  • Minimum 1-3 years of experience in sales, business development, account management, or a related field.
  • Strong business acumen with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Mandatory: Ability to speak, read, and write Mandarin fluently, as the role requires regular communication, correspondence, negotiations, and relationship management with Mandarin-speaking clients, distributors, and business partners from China and Hong Kong. Candidates who are not proficient in Mandarin will not be considered for this position.
  • Strong negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Willing and able to travel overseas when required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential business opportunities, industry trends, customer needs, and competitor activities.
  • Identify, develop, and pursue new business opportunities in local and international markets.
  • Build, maintain, and strengthen relationships with clients, distributors, strategic partners, and other stakeholders.
  • Develop and implement sales and business development strategies to achieve revenue targets and business objectives.
  • Manage the full business development cycle, from lead generation and prospecting to negotiation and closing of deals.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring timely responses, professional communication, and high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Prepare and deliver business proposals, presentations, quotations, and product information to prospective and existing clients.
  • Negotiate commercial terms, pricing, and contractual agreements while ensuring alignment with company objectives and policies.
  • Monitor sales performance, prepare reports, and analyze key metrics to evaluate business growth and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Collaborate closely with internal departments, including Marketing, Operations, Production, and Logistics, to ensure effective execution of business activities and customer requirements.
  • Participate in business meetings, exhibitions, trade shows, and networking events to promote the Company's products and services.
  • Continuously assess market dynamics and recommend strategies for market expansion, product development, and brand growth.
  • Perform any other duties and responsibilities assigned by Management from time to time.

Salary: RM 3K- RM 3.5K (Negotiable)
