Communications Intern (Kuala Lumpur)

Proforest is looking for a proactive and creative Communications Intern to support our visual content creation, event coordination, and communications. This internship is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in branding and corporate communications in a dynamic and diverse working environment. The position is based in Bangsar South, Kuala Lumpur and reports to the Communications Manager.

Responsibilities:

Visual Content Creation

• Design and edit brand assets (e.g. posters, infographics, report and brochure layout, and videos) for internal and external communications.
• Capture and edit high-quality photo and videos
• Ensure all visuals align with corporate branding guidelines. 

Content writing

• Research, write and edit articles, documents, social media posts and emails for internal and external communications

Event & Communication Support

• Support with logistics, setup, and promotional materials of internal and external events

Qualifications / Experience:

Essential:

• Fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia. Any other languages is a plus.
• Open to candidates pursuing a degree in Communications, Graphic Design, Multimedia, Marketing, or a related field. 
• Proficiency in Canva, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, or Capcut 
• Excel academically with minimum CGPA 3.00 or second class upper or equivalent 
• Minimum duration would be 12 weeks or above 
• Compulsory internship placements by university 

Desirable:

• Passionate about visual storytelling, corporate communications and stakeholder management
• A proactive, team-oriented mindset with a willingness to learn. 
• Able to accommodate occasional Global online meetings (maximum two times a month, UK time (AM)/ MY time (PM)
• Good communication skills and creative mindset.
• Able to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
