Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Perform monthly stock take and lead in customer audits, including necessary preparations.
- Monitor incoming and outgoing shipments, and address operational issues promptly.
- Plan and coordinate overtime arrangements when required.
- Ensure the warehouse, equipment, and storage areas are well-maintained and organized.
- Respond to customer inquiries to support smooth warehouse operations.
- Attend operational meetings with superiors and follow up on action items, including customer requests.
- Supervise warehouse staff and conduct daily briefings to ensure operational efficiency.
- Coordinate effectively between warehouse and office teams to ensure seamless operations.
- Report incidents and accidents to superiors, assist in investigations, and prepare reports with corrective and preventive actions.
- Ensure compliance with safety and health standards in line with OSHA and customer requirements, and propose improvements to minimize risks.
- Carry out any other duties assigned by management from time to time.
Requirements
- Diploma in Logistics or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience in warehouse operations.
- Strong sense of responsibility with the ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and delegate effectively.
- Computer literate with good knowledge of WMS and Microsoft Excel.
- Ability to operate a forklift and reach truck is an added advantage.
- Candidates who can start immediately will have an added advantage.
- This position needs to work closely with colleagues from China.
