Warehouse Assistant (Cold Storage)

Job Summary

Assist in executing warehouse operations and other related functions in compliance with regulatory requirements. Ensure assigned Material Handling Equipment (MHE) is properly maintained to prevent breakdowns and strictly adhere to health and safety protocols.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Conduct daily inspections of assigned Material Handling Equipment (MHE) and report any faults to the supervisor.
• Load and unload goods from trucks and containers while ensuring proper documentation and recording.
• Ensure products are stored at the required temperature in the cold storage environment.
• Follow the First-In-First-Out (FIFO) protocol unless instructed otherwise by the supervisor.
• Maintain proper personal hygiene and comply with warehouse hygiene standards.
• Ensure the working area is clean, organized, and compliant with safety regulations.
• Actively participate in Health & Safety improvement initiatives.
• Carry out additional tasks, job enlargements, or projects assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements

• Minimum SPM or equivalent certification.
• At least 2 years of experience working in a cold storage warehouse environment.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently.
• Basic computer literacy will be an added advantage.
• Hardworking, responsible, and punctual.
• Willing to work odd hours when required.
