Business Growth Executive (Sales & Marketing)

This is an Executive role reporting directly to the [CEO/COO]. We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Growth Executive to identify new market opportunities, create marketing content to generate leads, build strategic partnerships, and capture sales to drive revenue growth. This role requires a blend of strategic thinking, analytical capability, and hands-on execution to expand our market presence and customer base.

The core role of this position is to design and execute strategies for business growth—across market development, social media marketing, sales, and partnerships, and product-market fit expansion. We’re seeking an ambitious person who combines vision and execution to get more sales for the company.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, leads, and partnerships.
  • Develop outreach strategies and manage the sales pipeline from lead generation to closing deals.
  • Collaborate closely with the founder on market positioning, pricing strategy, and business direction.
  • Conduct market research to validate ideas and inform business decisions.
  • Support or lead client communications, proposals, and onboarding.
  • Contribute to marketing efforts (e.g., campaign ideas, social media, content direction) as needed.
  • Experiment, learn quickly, and help build repeatable systems for growth.

Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in both Mandarin and English (spoken and written).
  • Preferably female.
  • 2+ years of experience in business development, sales, or a growth-focused role.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close.
  • Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in CRM software tools
  • Familiarity with CRM tools, email marketing, and social media platforms.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience working with or targeting Mandarin-speaking markets (Mainland China, Taiwan, Singapore, etc.).
  • Understanding of platforms like WeChat, Xiaohongshu, or Mandarin e-commerce.
  • Background in tourism preferred.

Remuneration:

  • Base salary: RM2,800 - RM3,500
  • Commission: Percentage of revenue or profit from closed deals, tiered to incentivize over-performance.
