Project Design Executive (Petaling Jaya)

Our client is an established lifestyle café chain and restaurants in prime urban locations and shopping malls in Malaysia and internationally. They are currently looking for the right candidate to fill the following position.

PROJECT DESIGN EXECUTIVE

(Taman Mayang, Petaling Jaya, Selangor)

Job Summary

Responsible for project design planning from design stage until completion of fit out works, including preparation of full set drawings which are consistently comply with Secret Recipe’s requirements and monitoring of renovation work progress according to design requirement and expectation.

Responsibilities

• To draft accurate technical drawings for presentation purpose as and when required.
• Assist in projects drawings, documentations and coordination.
• To ensure all the sketches, drawings and graphic works are accurate, and approved by the Management and well recorded in soft copy and hard copy.
• Liable for design submission to relevant authorities and conduct routine site visits. 
• To ensure that full records are being maintained and final documents are prepared.
• To effectively maintain and upkeep record drawings and information of as-built drawings.
• To print out graphic works for other departments as and when required.
• To effectively maintain liaison with third parties, i.e. contractor/ franchisee when required.
• To maintain general inspection of the project.
• Provide contractor with all relevant information to accurately set out in accordance with the company requirement.
• Proactively explore new technologies and design trends for the company.
• To assist the Departmental Head in printing graphic works for other departments.
• Any other tasks which assigned by the management from time to time
• Ensure the confidentiality of all Company matters.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Interior Design or Architecture
• At least 2 years of experience in a related field
• Proficient in design software such as 3D Max, SketchUp, AutoCAD, Photoshop, and Microsoft Office
• Good communication in English, Bahasa Malaysia and fluency in Mandarin/dialects is needed to communicate effectively with our contractors.
• Must have personal transport and willing to travel to sites.

Salary RM2,500 – RM3,500, to commensurate with experience
