Our client is a Chartered Accountant firm (https://shgglobal.com/) rendering a series of professional accounting services to the SME and non-SME companies in Malaysia, They are looking the right candidate to join their team for the position of

 AUDIT MANAGER

(Based in Desa Parkcity, Kuala Lumpur)

 Job Scope

1. Plan work allocation with managing partner and/or assistant to managing partner (“PA”), mainly on deadline.
2. Brief and communicate with team leader / members (KL and JB) about the assignment and strategy to complete the assignment.
3. Monitor work progress and provide solutions / assistants to the team leader / members.
4. Monitor the deadline set in no. 1 above.
5. Review the assignment delivered by the team (ie. Audit and tax).

Responsibilities

• Make sure the team can deliver the assignment on-time.
• Communicate with and train the team, make sure the team’s auditing and tax workings skill improve progressively.
• Communicate with managing partner, partner and/or PA if discover any unusual outcome on the progress of the assignment.
• Communicate with clients to sort out any issue that are needed for completion of the assignment.
• Attend clearance meetings with the managing partner and/or partner, and clients.
• Attend clients with the managing partner and/or partner when necessary.
• Mess with and motivate the team, so that the team can maintain high level of team work.
• Must understand the requirements of International Standard of Quality Management (“ISQM”) 1.

Requirements

• Degree major in Accounting, Finance or professional accounting qualifications.
• At least 5 years working experience in senior level or 3 years in manager level
• Must be well verse with audit software (preference: aBot).
• Must be well verse with Microsoft Office
• Must be able to write and speak in Bahasa Malaysia, English and Mandarin.
• Must be willing to travel to client’s premise and JB branch (on need basis)

Salary: RM8,000 - RM15,000, to commensurate with experience. Defined statutory contribution: EPF, SOCSO and EIS. 5 day work week.
