Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Accounting: Lead and coordinate the India Finance Shared Service Center team to manage full accounting, including day-to-day operations, schedules, and reports for a Singapore holding company. Collaborate with India and Thailand teams to streamline accounting processes, ensuring compliance with IFRS and internal controls. Oversee filing of invoices, approval records, and month-end documents. Manage annual audits and overdue intercompany AR/AP.
  • Reporting: Prepare monthly financial results and management reports in SAP, ensuring consistency across systems. Handle local statutory reporting and filing on time.
  • Forecast & Analysis: Analyze monthly financial results, monitor expenses, and assist in forecasting and budgeting processes, reporting via SAP.
  • Tax: Manage GST, withholding tax, and corporate income tax reporting and filing. Coordinate with tax agents for tax calculations and transfer pricing documentation.
  • Others: Oversee capex requests, implement group projects, and handle ad-hoc duties.

Requirements:

  • Based in Malaysia, supporting a Singapore holding company.
  • Independent handling of full accounting for a Singapore entity.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting, financial reporting, and tax regulations.
  • Excellent communication, coaching, and collaboration skills to work with global teams.
  • Attention to detail and ability to resolve financial issues promptly.
  • Capable of working under pressure and meeting tight deadlines.

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a Finance Manager.
  • Experience with a Singapore company is preferred.
