We are currently looking to fill the following position for our client , a FMCG public listed company in Hongkong and an established wholesaler and retailer of food, beverages and other consumer products.
PRODUCTION EXECUTIVE (Based in Puchong, Selangor)
** Preferably candidates from F&B manufacturing industry with experience in Halal Certification
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement production plans to meet demand while optimizing resources.
- Coordinate with the planning team to ensure timely availability of raw materials and packaging supplies.
- Monitor and enforce strict adherence to food safety regulations and quality standards.
- Implement and maintain rigorous quality control processes to ensure the production of high-quality halal products.
- Oversee and ensure the entire production process adheres to halal guidelines and certifications.
- Setting up and maintaining control of all the documents for all certification that SCC have been certified (halal, ISO 22000, GMP & HACCP)
- Lead and manage production staff, providing guidance and training as needed.
- Foster a positive and collaborative working environment that emphasizes safety, quality, and productivity.
- Identify opportunities for process optimization and efficiency improvements.
- Implement and drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance overall production performance.
- Monitor and manage inventory levels to prevent stockouts and minimize excess inventory.
- Implement effective inventory control measures to reduce waste and ensure product freshness.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including procurement, quality control, and logistics, to streamline production processes.
- Communicate effectively with internal teams to address challenges and drive solutions.
- Overseeing the production processes, planning up production schedule based on sale forecast and adjusting the planning as needed
- Planning on packaging material order based on production plan
- In charge on the lift service and compressor and their certificates license by JKKP
- Reviewing the current and new products requirement for label and ingredients with Malaysian law together with marketing team and applying label advise for SCC label
- In charge in halal application of SCC’s product and OEM product
- Preparing the monthly production overtime and part time claim
- Provide training for production team on yearly training based on training plan
- Perform the quality inspection for raw material, finished good and packaging material
- Liaising with packaging material supplier on ordering, price and quality
- Liaising with OEM customer and external auditor on audit and other requirement needed
- Liaising with external parties e.g. regulatory authorities, customers and etc on matters related to SCCM products and food safety
- Liaising with machine suppliers on repairing, maintenance, and ordering parts
- Liaising with supplier on yearly calibration for weighing scale, standard weight, and temperature controller
- Liaising with lab test provider for product testing to ensure the quality meet according to their specification
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in food science, Food Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience in food production management, preferably in a halal food manufacturing environment.
- In-depth knowledge of food safety regulations and halal certification requirements.
- At least 5 years’ relevant experience
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make effective decisions under pressure.
Salary RM5,000, to commensurate with experience.
