What is the job about?

EZHR is seeking a HR Consultant to support our workforce in Malaysia.

In this role, you will be essential in ensuring smooth HR operations and providing support to employees and management in a different environment.

This position reports directly to the director.

Main Responsibilities

  1. Employee Services
  2. Address employee inquiries regarding HR-related issues, policies, and procedures.
  3. Provide assistance with HR-related matters and guide employees to the appropriate resources.
  4. Maintain and update employee records, ensuring data accuracy.
  1. New Hire Orientation
  2. Conduct orientation sessions to introduce new hires to company policies, procedures, and culture.
  3. Prepare and distribute onboarding materials.
  4. Ensure new hires complete all necessary paperwork and training.
  5. Develop training materials and conduct training sessions when needed.
  1. Recruitment and placement
  2. Perform the end-to-end recruitment function.
  3. Post job advertisements, source potential candidates, schedule interviews, and manage the selection process for clients.
  1. Build rapport with candidates, assessing their suitability through conversations, interviews, and evaluate their suitability based on client needs.
  1. Facilitate interviews between candidates and clients, providing guidance and support throughout the process.
  1. Negotiate offers and manage the placement process to ensure a positive experience for all parties.
  1. Compensation and benefit
  2. Ensure compliance with company policies and Employment Act
  3. Perform end to end payroll and statutory billing process.To ensure timely and accurate delivery  for clients.
  1. Ensure all necessary approvals and signatures are in place to complete the payroll process within the stipulated timeline.
  1. Liaise with local authorities and service providers in relation to statutory matters.
  1. HRIS management
  2. Set up, maintain and update the HRIS.
  3. Process and update - leave and claim (if applicable).
  1. Performance management
  2. Conduct monthly/quarterly/yearly performance appraisal.
  3. Other Ad-Hoc Duties
  4. Other ad-hoc dutiesas assigned

Job Requirements:

  1. A degree in any field (HR, Business, Psychology, or related areas) or equivalent work experience.
  2. 1–2 years of experience in an HR-related role is preferred.
  3. Fresh graduates are also encouraged to apply – comprehensive training will be provided.
  4. Basic understanding of employment laws and HR best practices.
  5. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HR Information Systems.
  6. A team player with strong multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment.
  7. Responsible, hardworking, and eager to learn.
  8. Excellent proficiency in both written and spoken English and Mandarin.
