We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Finance & Operations Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling daily finance and accounting operations, including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), invoicing, and related tasks. Additionally, the candidate will create proper Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), have HR/recruitment management experience, and build a strong accounting/finance team. This role offers the opportunity for promotion to a team lead position for individuals with demonstrated team leadership and process creation capabilities.
Key responsibilities
- Perform daily finance and accounting tasks, including GL, AP, AR, and invoicing.
- Ensure accurate and timely financial transactions and reporting.
- Develop and implement SOPs to streamline finance and accounting processes.
- Handle payroll processing and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
- Manage customer and vendor communications related to finance.
- Prepare financial reports and documents for audits.
- Address foreign exchange conversion and subscription billing challenges.
- Perform HR/recruitment tasks, including job postings, candidate screening, and onboarding.
- Build and lead an effective accounting/finance team.
- Collaborate with other departments to support overall business objectives.
- Familiarity or experience with Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR), Monthly Recurring Revenue (MRR), subscription, cloud, and SaaS billing models.
- Experience in handling local currency and USD business transactions.
- Equip with skills in cash flow analysis, forecasting, and management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in finance and accounting roles.
- Strong hands-on experience in GL, AP, AR, and invoicing processes.
- Proven experience in creating and implementing SOPs.
- HR/recruitment management experience is highly desirable.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience with Dynamics 365 (D365) is a plus.
- Demonstrated ability in team leadership and process creation, with potential for promotion to a team lead role.
- Familiarity or experience with ARR, MRR, subscription, cloud, and SaaS billing models.
- Experience in handling local currency and USD business transactions.
- Proficiency in cash flow analysis, forecasting, and management.
