Job Summary:

The Central Kitchen Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing all operation & administrative functions within the Central Kitchen. This role ensures that the kitchen operates smoothly by coordinating various administrative activities, managing staff, and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day administrative & central kitchen operations, including office management, record-keeping, supply ordering & logistic management.
  • Coordinate and supervise administrative staff, including staffing, scheduling, training, and performance management.
  • Oversee the procurement and management of kitchen supplies, ensuring that inventory levels are maintained. Consistently coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
  • Ensures that the kitchen and office environment adhere and complies with all relevant regulations. This includes conducting regular safety inspections.
  • Coordinates internal and external audits by preparing necessary documentation, facilitating auditor access, and addressing any findings or recommendations.
  • Identify and address any challenges or obstacles that arise during the course of a project, ensuring that issues are resolved quickly and effectively.
  • Acts as a liaison between the central kitchen team and other departments, ensuring clear and consistent communication.
  • Work closely with the finance department to ensure accurate and timely processing of invoices and payments.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
  • Min of 3-5 years of experience in an administrative or management role, preferably in a food service or kitchen environment.
  • Proven experience managing a team and overseeing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other relevant software.
  • Knowledge and hands on experience in culinary, kitchen management
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and compliance requirements is added advantage.
