Desktop IT Support (Penang Island)

- Working period: 1 year contract
- Location: Penang Island
- Job vacancy: 2
- Allowance: RM3,500 - RM4,000 per month

SOW :
1. Hardware
- Identifying, isolating and resolving equipment problems to restore it to operational condition.
- General cleaning of equipment during repair and/or service works {if any).
- Any other additional tasks as needed.

2. Software
- Installation of drivers, application and relevant patches.
- Scanning & Removal Of Virus/Malware.
- Diagnose and correcting desktop and notebook problems.
- Any other additional tasks as needed

3. Others
- Updated asset information
- Implement and maintain IT policy
- Assist PBAP during desktop / hardware replacement

Requirement:
Technicians are required to have the following experience:
(a) Excellent desktop, notebook and printer troubleshooting skills and techniques.
(b) Good network troubleshooting knowledge.
(c) Excellent Microsoft Windows Operating System troubleshooting knowledge.
(d) Well versed in hardware checking/maintenance including parts dismantling/replacement.
(e) Well versed in major application installation/configuration (MS Office, email setup, etc.).
(f) Well versed in system security, virus/malware detection/cleanup including data recovery.
(g) Ability to work and resolve_ issues. independently. Technicians must be resourceful in executing tasks.
(h) Excellent communication skills with technical and/or non- technical persons.
(i) Fluent communication in Bahasa Melayu and English.
(j) Minimum 3 years of work experience in IT support.
