Job Description

  • Develop and implement comprehensive event plans, including setup, execution, and teardown.
  • Oversee event logistics, vendor management, and on-site coordination to ensure seamless operations.
  • Continuously analyze event performance to identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop and execute innovative event strategies to enhance attendee experience and drive event success.
  • Coordinate 3D layout design for optimal venue utilization, and make strategic decisions.
  • Research, contact, and negotiate with vendors to optimize event execution.
  • Manage on-ground operations, troubleshoot issues, and implement efficient procedures.
  • Identify operational gaps and develop solutions to enhance event efficiency.
  • Contribute to budget planning, monitor expenses, and achieve sales targets to ensure targeted ROI for each event.
  • Coordinate with marketing, sales, logistics, finance, and other departments to ensure successful event execution.
  • Conduct comprehensive post-event reviews to identify key learnings and implement improvements for future events.
  • Review the outcomes and key learnings from each event to identify areas for improvement and ensure even greater success in future events.
  • Assist in local and overseas events as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 4-5 years of experience in event planning or a related field in the retail industry.
  • Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Possess exceptional organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and multitask simultaneously.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Prior experience with project management tools is a valuable asset.
  • A keen eye for detail and a passion for accuracy are essential.
  • Thrive in a team environment while also demonstrating the ability to work independently.
  • Be an avid reader with a genuine love for books and the literary community.

Remarks:

  • Working days are Monday to Friday, 9am to 6pm. The candidate shall maintain a flexible schedule with the ability to work evenings, weekends or public holidays as events require, to ensure the successful execution of time-sensitive initiatives
