Job Description:

  1. To lead and being responsible for GUC event from start to finish.
  2. Delivering events on time that meet (and hopefully exceed) expectations.
  3. Coordinate caterers/suppliers relating to the event to ensure timing and quality are met.
  4. Liaise with customer to ensure excellent customer service and quality delivery.
  5. Communicating, maintaining and developing client relationships
  6. Managing supplier relationships
  7. Providing leadership, motivation, direction and support to the related event team.
DUTIES & RESPOBSIBILITIES
  1. Responsible for the coordination and smooth running of events, liaising with caterers, event team and customers.
  2. Responsible for event set-up, timing (schedule), food quality, service quality, after event cleaning, event personnel, customer relationship.
  3. Handles customer complaints and member queries in a professional and diplomatic manner and pass on relevant complaints to GUC.
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENT
  1. Fully or partly experienced in food & beverage/catering services
  2. Capable of organizing and coordinating events/functions
  3. Have good business-sense and strong customer service skills
  4. Good communicator
  5. Ability to lead and motivate a team
  6. Ability to use initiative
