Job Description:

  1. Create awareness of company’s products in the marketplace
  2. Carry out market research and surveys
  3. Follow up on leads, close deals and achieve and exceed sales target set by Management
  4. To develop an effective sales strategy to attract new caterers and customers
  5. Adopt a clear and strategic approach to catering sales by selling a catering offer that drives up spend per head, while keeping operational costs to a minimum
  6. Efficiently respond to all customer enquires in a polite and timely manner
  7. Create and prepare accurate catering proposals for potential customers, ensuring that the catering offer matches the profile of the event in terms of product selection and budget
  8. Work closely and effectively with whole team to ensure that all catering orders are delivered to a high standard
  9. Provide weekly and monthly sales forecasts and activity reports

  10. Develop and deliver sales presentations to potential customers
  11. Collect debts
  12. Organize and attend client meetings both internally and externally
  13. Periodically review and suggest improvement to the related process
  14. The duties of this post may require some weekend or evening work
  15. This job description is not exhaustive and the role necessitates flexibility to take on other responsibilities which are at the discretion of the Management
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
  1. Minimum 2 years experience in F&B industry
  2. Minimum 1year experience in Sales & Marketing
  3. Have own transport
  4. Excellent reading, writing and oral proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia
  5. Excellent proficiency in Microsoft applications.
  6. Have good business-sense and strong customer service skills
  7. Service-oriented i.e. committed to meeting deadlines
  8. Good with figures and calculations
