This position is responsible to develop new transportation business opportunities
Develop new business opportunity for National Transport/distribution, Land bridge and LTL service.
Support existing accounts to ensure excellent customer service is provided.
Participate in logistics RFI/RFP/RFQ pricing and narrative information in response to local regional or global account, which are specified to resident country.
Support annual sales and profits goals for all local, regional and global account.
Respond to transport issues and inquiries and in support of the local, region-wide and global strategy for the customer.
Assist in product development efforts based on requirements of customer specifications.
Participate in development of and implementation rates and tariffs sold in-country.
Maintain good working relationships with Operations Departments to ensure continual and consistent service is provided.
Partner with other regional or global logistics Key Account Managers to orchestrate a region-wide account sales strategy.
Input and review logistics program to improve local, regional or global communications regarding the account specifies.
Manage AR and ensure prompt payment collection.
Exceptional interpersonal, analytical and problem-solving as well as communication skills.
Minimum secondary education
Generally prefer 2-5 years of related sales or customer service experience.
Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of transportation and supply chain management.
Must demonstrate working knowledge of selling, negotiation, closing, account management, cost accounting, pricing, and informational technology.
Willing to travel local and abroad when business need arises.
